Delighted to have been named Musician of the Year in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2017! The night got even better when The Furrow Collective won Best Group! What a party....

That is so nice and congratulations on the awards that you have received. I work at a local radio station here at our place and I have been working here for almost 5 years. Our station is still kind of new and that is why we still don't get nominated for local award ceremonies. However, we are still doing our very best for our viewers and listeners because we are really passionate about giving news and providing entertainment. I really love listening to radio, however, I do not really get to do it anymore. I used to listen to the radio almost everyday back in the past, but I have long since stopped. I am really happy that you are providing us with some good radio to listen to. It is the best thing that I have listened to for a while.
